Foreclosures

With the skill and expertise of managing partners Burton E. Stacy, Jr. and Rickard W. Hood, and attorney Sara E. Heck, along with several highly trained staff members, Hood & Stacy's Foreclosure Department assists many of the nation's premier lending institutions in the recovery of secured properties throughout Arkansas and Oklahoma through the state's non-judicial foreclosure process.

Whether delinquent accounts are resolved through foreclosure, deeds in lieu of foreclosure, forbearance agreements, or reinstatements, our foreclosure department provides personal service and legal expertise with an emphasis on expedient and cost-effective procedures. We are experienced in both conventional and government-insured loans, whether residential or commercial. Realizing that each of our clients has unique needs, we are careful to customize our procedures to satisfy those requirements, including assigning a team of legal assistants to work directly with each institution.

The department prides itself on attention to detail and on the involvement of its attorneys in every stage of the foreclosure process, from referral to the final accounting. Clients are assured of regular communication with the attorneys and staff. We are linked to most web-based case management and billing systems.

Many of our clients' needs include the resolution of title issues affecting the secured property. Each of our attorneys and legal assistants is well versed in handling these complicated legal issues. In addition, our evictions coordinator, who works closely with the foreclosure department, processes post-foreclosure evictions in the most timely manner available by law.

Foreclosure-related issues are handled by other creditors' rights departments in the firm, including the bankruptcy department, which routinely obtains relief from the automatic stay imposed in bankruptcy cases so that our clients can proceed with foreclosure, and the commercial litigation department, which pursues deficiency judgments for those foreclosure clients seeking additional remedies for the collection of their debts.

While Hood & Stacy, P.A. conducts trustee's sales in all jurisdictions throughout Arkansas and Oklahoma, we have been able to keep our fees competitive.
